Ms. Oster recently re-relocated to Austin, Texas where she is a regular concertist and soloist. She previously lived in Baltimore, Maryland where she was a soloist with the Handel Choir, and the St. Cecilia Choir of First Lutheran Church. Recent performances include solos in Mozart's Great Mass in C Minor, Bach's St. John's Passion, Cantatas 6 and 126 and the world premier of The Creation, by Elam Sprenkel.

Ms. Oster is a native of California, and attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she received her Bachelor and Masters of Music degrees. While in San Francisco she performed principal roles with the Conservatory Opera Theater, The Lamplighters, the Savoyards and Livermore Valley Opera. Ms. Oster was an associate apprentice with the Austin Lyric Opera during their 1997-1998 season.
